Many of these suppliers do not sell to the public directly and you must work with a travel agent in order to obtain exclusive access to certain travel products.
In most cases the agreements in place include commission on travel products that is built into the total cost for the consumer.
This commission is included no matter if you book directly with a supplier/tour operator/hotel, or through a travel agent.
